Teaming Up with Our Audience

Eric Fung Admin

We're on a mission to make our products the best they can be, and who better to help us than you, our awesome users? Just like when friends come together to build a cool LEGO set, we're inviting you to join in on the fun of making our products amazing. Let's see how other successful companies are doing it.

Let's look at how some big names have done this and what we're planning to do:

1. Sharing Your Brilliant Ideas:

LEGO Ideas Platform: LEGO lets fans submit their own cool design ideas. Everyone gets to vote on their favorites, and the top picks actually get made into real LEGO sets you can buy. The designers even get a little fame and some cash. It's a win-win: LEGO gets great new ideas, and the community feels like a big, creative family..

The following video is "What is a Project - LEGO Ideas".  This video explains the LEGO Ideas project submission process, encouraging fans to submit their own LEGO set ideas. It outlines how the community can get involved by sharing their creations, further emphasizing the collaborative spirit between LEGO and its fan base. It is something that involves the audience / community building with the company too.

2. Crowdsourcing Our Features

  • Heineken's Design Project: Imagine a bunch of creative people and Heineken fans coming together online to design the coolest club ever. That's exactly what happened, and it was a hit at Milan Design Week, showing how awesome things can happen when companies and customers work together.
  • Anheuser-Busch's Crafty Competition: They wanted to catch the craft beer wave, so they had their best brewers come up with new beer ideas and let customers taste-test them. The winner, 'Black Crown,' became a new favorite. It's all about listening to what people love and giving it to them. Side note, many of their campaigns is about the people and how their team and its partners of 65,000 Americans craft their beer.

3. Beta Testing with You Guys:

Duolingo's Personal Touch: When you start using Duolingo, they figure out how much you already know and customize your learning path. It's a smooth way to start picking up a new language, all thanks to user feedback

Spotify's Listening Experience: They pay close attention to what users like and how they use Spotify to make sure everything feels just right. It's like they're reading our minds to make our music listening as enjoyable as possible.

What's Next?

Inspired by these giants, we're diving into the world of co-creation headfirst. Whether it's through inviting your ideas, getting together to brainstorm the next big thing, or having you test out our latest creations, we're all about making this journey together.

Your feedback, creativity, and insights are the secret ingredients to our success. So, let's do something incredible together. Team up! Who knows? We have a members section here, where you can explore others and directly DM them and do collars and even work together on a new project.
